When to go
Yeddi Gozel is beautiful all year round, but it looks completely different depending on the season.
The timing of your trip determines how you will see the waterfall.
Seasons
The best time to visit is spring and summer. Meltwater and rain fill the cascade and the waterfalls run especially powerfully. The greenery around is at its densest.
In summer the coolness of the water and the shade of the forest make this a refuge from the heat.

By season
Full flow and fresh greenery.
Coolness and dense forest.
Golden and crimson slopes.
The waterfall freezes; access is hard.
Seasons
In winter the waterfall often freezes completely, turning into columns of ice. It is beautiful, but the climb up the icy stairway becomes difficult and unsafe.
If you go in winter, assess the weather and the state of the trail in advance.

The state of the waterfall depends on the weather of a given year; check before your trip.
